Sonia Reyatt is a qualified Breathwork Practitioner, running a successful private practice in Birmingham called In-Exhale. Sonia merges her two passions of Conscious Breathwork and Art Therapy, which she has evolved and named, Breathwork Art. This practice integrates Conscious Breathing and supports deep and gentle emotional release also through artistic self-expression. This approach appeals to a range of clients seeking self-awareness and release from pain.  Specifically, Sonia has had outstanding results working with younger clients facing exclusion from school or struggling with home life challenges. Breathing Art builds upon her experience as a professional Breathwork therapist and is an exciting development of her pre-existing skills.

Sonia has undertaken her training and qualification through First-Breath, the longest established school for breathwork practitioner qualification in the UK. For three years, Sonia has committed to 30 days residential training annually, accruing 1000+ training hours over that period. In addition, she has a place on the First-Breath administration team and is involved in developing Breathwork training in the UK including establishing and maintaining high and rigorous standards for professional breathwork practice.

This year Sonia has commenced the First-Breath post-graduate program, which is open to graduates who are successfully in practice. This year is about developing and evolving her group facilitation skills and she will be an integrated member of the First-Breath delivery team as a part of her journey towards qualifying as a Workshop Leader.

Prior to undertaking breathwork training, Sonia’s background was in homeless services and teaching. She has 15 years of experience in the field, underpinned by  degree in Sociology and an HND in Sociology and Psychology.
